Paul fixed a leak in our guest bath, reconnected some duct work and painted our powder room. I could not ask for a better experience. Paul explained everything, was punctual each time he worked on the project, very easy to work with. He explained risks involved with plumbing problems discovered during the project, returned everything back to original condition after project was completed and did a complete, meticulous paint job. As for price, it was below what we budgeted and far below any competing bids we received. We will call Paul in the future for any remodeling projects

Paul and his crew did a phenomenal job on our fireplace remodel. Paul was extremely professional and meticulous. I could not believe the detail he put into the project with the cutting of the tiles around the wood work and wood floor. His work is top notch and I could tell right away this guy not only knew his stuff about remodeling but also his cleanliness. Everyday, the project materials were picked up, set aside and the room was made livable again for me and my family. I am extremely confident that I've found my contractor for a multitude of projects I have planned for our house in Evanston.

We had our bathroom remodeled. New tiled floor, faucets it looks just beautiful! Our all round carpenter Paul was so professional. He took the time to explain everything to both myself and my husband. Cleaned up everything after the project was completed. We hope to use them again very soon to remove our living room carpet and use our hardwood floors. Thanks for the referral! PS Did a V-chat with my out of state daughter to show her how great the bathroom looks! Paul of MPT was very prompt and ever so helpful with extra suggestions. Will use them again.

Dear Paul -
Thank you so much for the work you have done for us. You did a wonderful, meticulous job, and it was a pleasure to work with you. I hope you'll be able to do other projects for us in the future.

We wanted to remodel our upstairs bathroom. We got a number of quotes. Paul and his crew did everything on the job - plumbing, electrical, tiling, hardwood flooring (we ended up having to tear out and reinstall our hallway floor in the process, given the insufficient support in our old 1870's house). The finishes were excellent and the remodel finished on time. We have no complaints about his work at all.
We encountered a couple of unforeseen problems (due to the age of our house and work that previous owners had done) along the way and Paul suggested a number of options to fix the issues. He was very responsive to all the changes we made during the remodel and went way above and beyond what we expected from a contractor. He was very willing to accomodate us, answered questions without seeming bothered and was very good at communicating. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone contemplating a remodel.

We use MPT Enterprises for all of our projects, big or small. They are wonderful to work with. They listen to what the homeowner would like and make it happen. They are also very good educators as well and don't try to undermind the homeowner or give excuses. They are hard workers and craftsmen. We thank them for their service and will continue to call on them.

Decided on Paul and his crew after extensive research on several kinds of kitchen rehab options. Decided to use an indie contractor who was willing to work with me and with materials and suppliers of my choosing. Paul's quote was lower than the others I received, so was a bit skeptical at first. But after reviewing his work in another unit of our building and after checking his references, the decision seemed easy. The first day our kitchen was completely gutted (late November '07); after that the only slowdowns were due to holidays and waiting for other contractors and for components to be delivered (e.g., the countertop). Even then Paul and his crew were done by late January '08, an amazing feat it seemed to us given the holiday period. During the slowdowns Paul did extra work in our foyer, hallways and bathrooms, as described above. Throughout the entire process Paul and his crew were courteous, professional and incredibly flexible when it came to requests for minor changes. For larger changes (e.g., the foyer and hallway work), it was easy to negotiate the extra charges. I also appreciated the ease of communication with Paul and his crew. I could contact them via cell phone or e-mail and receive a prompt reply. And he would always show up as promised. Since the work has been completed, Paul has come over a couple of times to make minor adjustments. No problem. Having Paul as a contractor took most of the worry out of an intrinsically stressful process.
